Description: Located in Norfolk, Great Yarmouth is a coastal town at the mouth of the River Yare. Traditionally a seaside resort, it has always attracted a large number of holiday-makers. It was also a fishing port, focusing on herring. The port also held Royal Navy ships. The Germans bombed the port at Great Yarmouth during World War One and World War Two.
