Hi, and welcome, to my new blog.

I've wanted to do this for a while but did not previously had the time and, if I am honest, was a bit scared.

Originally from London, I lived in West Yorkshire for 14 years and currently live in Kuala Lumpur with my family. Its Chinese New Year right now which is a fantastic experience for anyone. Very colourful, very exicting and very noisy!!

I am a full-time genealogist, who researches English, Scottish and Welsh family trees. I also provide a lot of free information on my site, so check it out. I have been doing this for many years now, and had the website for 5 years.

I intend this blog to bring you latest news in genealogy and related subjects, a one-stop-genealogy-shop. I want to write short blogs on relevant issues that we genealogist face that would be useful for newcomers and advanced researchers alike. I will also write about my other favouite topics, military history (which I believe goes hand in hand with genealogy) and census occupations. These two subjects interest me greatly, and are what I dedicate a lot of my free pages too.
