Description: The 3rd battle of Gaza took place on 31 October-7 November 1917 at Gaza, Palestine and fought between allied troops from Britain, Australia and New Zealand and the Ottoman Empire. The allies finally broke the enemy line by capturing Beersheba. The result was an allied victory with 18000 casualties and losses compared with 25000 Turks.
