Description: The battle of Stormberg was fought between the Boers and and the British. The battle followed the Boer invasion of the Cape Colony, following the railway line to East London. The British force, under General Gatacre, moved up to meet the Boers, hoping to drive them from Stormberg station. The battle resulted in a win for the Boers.
