Description: The battle of Spion Kop was fought between the Boers and and the British. The battle followed the defeat at Colonso, having been signalled that a simltaneous attach out of the besieged Ladysmith was out of the question. The next attack took place against the Rangeworthy Hills of which Spion Kop was one. The battle resulted in a win for the Boers.
