Description: The battle of Majuba Hill was fought between the Boers and and the British. The battle followed that at Laing's Neck. Rather than wait for reinforcements, Major General Colley advanced on the Boer position. Taking the position atop Mount Majuba, with the Boers camped below. The British did not attack though and the Boers advanced, finally taking Majuba hill and routing the British. The battle resulted in a win for the Boers.
