Description: No. 62 squadron was active from 1916. The squadron was comprised of Bristol F2B aircraft.

World War Two

Description: The number 62 squadron was comprised of Hawker Hind, Bristol Blenheim, Lockheed Hudson and Doulgas Dakota aircraft. It was formed from a core of men from No.40 Squadron. The squadron spent most of the war in Singapore and Burma, absorbing much of No.139 Squadron, before moving to India on transport duties.
