Description: The number 52 squadron was comprised of Battle, Avro Anson, Audaxe, Bristol Blenheim, Baltimore and Douglas Dakota aircraft. It was formed from a core of men from No.15 Squadron. They performed a number of roles including training for other units, maintenance duties, reconnaissance and finally transport.
